I'm around here for 9 months now (never been really active until a few monts ago) and I got to say dA is an awesome community. It's a great way to show your work to the rest of the world, to meet other artists and to find loads of useful resources.

But there is just one thing that I'm missing here: Constructive Criticism. Just look up a random deviation and take a look at the comments. You'll probably read something like:

"Awesome!"
"looks great "
"Nice work "
"I like it"
or the simple but effective
"Nice!"

Don't get me wrong it's always nice to read this sort of comments. But you won't learn anything from it. While I'm here to learn something. DeviantART would definitely benefit if people gave more CnC.
Lately I've been commenting a lot. Not only by saying: nice work! But by taking a few minutes and giving the deviation a closer look. What does look good and what doesn't? Are there things to improve one? And I should tell you, I got a lot of comments back. Most of them including this text: Thanks I apreciate it!

So if people started to give more CnC this place would become even better then it is right now!
